Jason Brown was born and raised in the Twin Cities area. He attended
Minnesota State University at Mankato for his undergraduate training and
graduated cum laude from the William Mitchell College of Law. During law
school, Jason served as an associate editor of the law review and as a
member, and later coach, of William Mitchell's international moot court.
Prior to founding the Brown Law Offices in 2003, Jason clerked for
Timothy R. Bloomquist, Assistant Chief Judge of Minnesota's Tenth
Judicial District, and practiced with one of Minnesota's most respected
personal injury lawyers - Fred Pritzker.
Some of the well-known cases handled by Jason include the representation
of victims of an e. coli outbreak at local Cub Foods stores, serving as
appointed counsel in several civil commitment cases involving sex
offenders, a civil commitment case involving an accused murderer, and
serving as associate counsel in a wrongful death/traumatic brain injury
case involving two young children caught in an apartment fire. That case
settled for just under three million dollars.
Jason enjoys sharing his knowledge with other lawyers by lecturing at
numerous continuing legal education seminars. He has authored a number
of published articles. Jason is one of a handful of attorneys who have
been elected to serve as the co-chair of the family law section of the
Minnesota Trial Lawyer's Association.
